9/11 Thanks

As I’m sure you all have read and heard, today marks the 8th anniversary of 9-11. Collin and Mama wanted to take a moment of our day to thank all of the troops that protect us each and every day! We would especially like to thank the members of our family who have served and are serving!!! Daddy, you are our hero! You’ve been the rock for our family; you’ve kept this family together when many families in our situation have not made it. You are strong, kind, caring, and perfect! Thank you for protecting us when you’re at home and when you’re at work. We love you! Also, thank you to Grandpa (whom is retired), Papa (whom served 10years), Uncle Ryan (whom is serving in the Air National Guard), Uncle Dan (whom is serving in the Army National Guard), and all of our extended family members and friends that are or have served our wonderful country! Thank you, we owe you our freedom! Please don't forget to pray for your troops!

We had such an amazing week in Minnesota this summer! Ryan and Abby’s wedding was a fairytale! We are so proud of them! Collin’s had a great summer, has been very health! He’s up to 86mls an hour on his tube feeds, has a 6hour window with no tubes, and is on tube feeds for 14hours and fluids 4hours a day. He has no line and has been tolerating three tablespoons of baby cereal added to his tube feeds two times a day. We are doing the cereal with the hopes to thicken stools as well as added calories. So far he’s tolerating these changes. Collin’s got a little cold now so please pray for him…don’t want it turning into anything crazy!! Love you all

Mrs. Elizabeth got a kidney infection so Lane got to spend 5days and 4nights at our house(this was a little over a month ago, Mrs. E is doing just fine now!)!!! I had so much fun, can’t wait to have a sibling of my own!!!!

Grandma, Collin, Daddy, and Mama!!! We had soo much fun hiking!!! Miss you Grandma!

Collin had a great visit with Grandma…it only took about ten minutes for him to warm up to her. After that she was his playmate! We had a ton of fun going fishing, hiking, parting on the 4th of July and spending time together! Collin’s health has been great, slowly cutting back on tube feeds and working on oral intake. Please continue to keep him in your prayers!

Collin's been having an ok summer. Kolton had to come for the summer so our families have been spending most of the summers together…don’t know what we are going to do when they have to back to Texas. Anyway, Collin’s been having issues with bacterial overgrowth (or so we think). We are going to change his antibiotics in hopes that will correct his recent problems. Hope everyone is having a great summer!
